Sandra's Studio

In this post there is a video which lines up with the notes. You can experience them synced, or navigate just the notes non-linearly by the words and images.

*To experience them synced, you have to watch them linearly.  Play both simultaneously; make sure they start at the same time after they complete loading.  The videos have no sound, so it doesn't have to be perfect for it to work well

George's Studio

"...Because I had to taste complex flavors in my life again..."

Holed up back in the corner, I found George and an armory of tools. While I chattered, he kept himself busy smoothing mill-marks out of the wood.  He had rescued these pieces of maple from a defunct Piano factory.  Throughout our conversation, the would-be hammer-keys were slowly becoming drawers.
With the labor-intensive, tedious and solitary task ahead of him, we talked about late night shop sessions and musical company, his 'sweetheart' cabinets full with mountains of tools, family inspirations and relationships between his theories of craft, design, music and art.

"...I kinda like the stories that go along with it."

Jose's Studio

“...you open that subconscious brain of mine and this is what happens...”

Sitting on a stool in the corner of the studio, I was faced with an opera of art.  All the performers, now inanimate and half-finished, crowded around looking in different directions while patiently waiting for their cues.  The conductor sat surrounded, slowly threading their lines into a web of interconnections.
